Amber Dumas is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor Designation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and went on to receive her Master of Science in Social Administration (MSSA) from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Amber is the owner and primary clinician at Arrow Counseling Services, with her office located in Beachwood, Ohio. Within the practice she assists and empowers clients dealing with depression, grief, trauma, anxiety and a myriad of life issues. She has 13 years of experience as an Adult, Child and Family Therapist within the Behavioral Health Department and is currently the Director of Behavioral Health Services at NEON.

 

Within these roles she has provided direct social psychotherapy service to the East Cleveland, Hough and Superior neighborhoods in OH while managing clinical staff and Medically Assisted Treatment programming for individuals with Opioid Addiction. Her clinical focus is the identification, evaluation and intervention of mood and adjustment disorders for individuals across the lifespan while helping clients recognize and utilize their God given talents, gifts and abilities.
